We’ve recently discovered the coast of Dorset around Swanage. It’s an area of great beauty and charm, and it boasts the beautiful village of Corfe Castle, named after it’s famous Castle (unsurprisingly!)

I took my life in my hands to jump into the road to take the photo, but I greatly enjoyed the challenge of painting the many different textures on show in this painting.
