I hope those of you who read my blog on all things artistic and musical find it insightful and interesting (at least on the odd occasion!) I never thought I’d enjoy writing a blog as much as I do. It’s not always clear when I start an entry what it will be about – I often look around my workspace and find inspiration in the things I see around me.
Many of you may know that I am now a fulltime freelance artist and composer, having come out of teaching nearly a year ago. It was a good decision to make for all sorts of reasons, including helping my son through his GCSE exams last year. He now faces major heart surgery so its good to know that I have the flexibility to be there for him.
But one of the things I’ve started doing as a freelancer is improving my visibility – it’s all very well doing lots of great creating, but if no one knows I’m there it’s all for nothing. So as part of that, I’ve started producing monthly newsletters, just to keep people up to date with what I’m doing creatively. It’s mainly about my art, but occasionally I’ll pop in some news and links to new musical work as well.
So I’d like to invite my followers here to sign up for my newsletter. It won’t require anything of you at all apart from 2 minutes of your time every month, and I hope you’ll find that the two minutes is worth spending. You’ll also have news of special offers and even giveaways, and you’ll be able to unsubscribe at any time.
If you’re interested, you can click on the button below.
But even if you don’t feel like doing so, I hope you’ll continue to enjoy my blog posts. Keep safe, and keep creating!
